Booking Fees Explained
We want to keep things clear and straightforward!
- Any booking fee taken is not a deposit but a non-refundable fee to cover administration costs and to reserve your chosen items.
- This amount is credited to your order and deducted from your final balance.
- 7 days before your hire date, we will request the remaining balance, (if not paying Cash), which is the total hire cost minus the booking fee already paid.
This ensures your booking is secure and hassle-free!
Weather Policy
- If your booking is outdoors and we determine that adverse weather (e.g., heavy rain or high winds) poses a safety risk, we may need to cancel your booking. In this case, your payment can be transferred once to a new date within six months of the original hire date. Weather FAQ

We want everyone to have an amazing time on our inflatables, soft play, and other equipment, but safety is always the top priority! So, here’s a quick guide to help ensure the fun stays safe and smooth with our Terms & Conditions.
-
Supervision is Key!
A responsible adult (18+) must supervise each inflatable at all times to make sure things stay bouncy and safe!
-
Soft Play & Other Equipment
All soft play and other equipment should also be supervised by a responsible adult. Let’s keep the fun safe!
-
Height Restrictions
There’s a height limit for our inflatables (you’ll find it on the equipment). If you’re unsure, just ask one of our awesome AW Inflatables team members!
-
Keep It Grounded
Our inflatables need to be secured to the ground at all times. Once we set them up, please don’t try to move or tamper with them. It’s for safety!
-
No Snacks on the Inflatables
To avoid choking hazards and mess, please don’t eat or drink on the inflatables. Keep those treats nearby for later!
-
No Jewellery, Please!
Shoes, jewellery (big earrings, necklaces), and badges must be removed to prevent damage to the equipment and to keep everyone safe. Adults, please take off those high heels before stepping onto the mats!
-
Avoid Overcrowding
Let’s not overcrowd the inflatables! Follow the recommendations printed on the equipment for the number of people based on their age and size.
-
Keep It Safe
Hard or sharp objects, or anything too big that could block exits, shouldn’t be taken onto the equipment. Let’s keep it safe and fun for everyone!
-
No Balloons!
No balloons allowed on the inflatables (they can burst and pose a choking hazard), so leave them outside and have fun without the risk!
-
No Silly String or Paints
Party poppers, henna, face paint, coloured streamers, or silly string can permanently stain the equipment – so keep those away!
-
No Water Fights!
No water or liquids should be poured or sprayed on the equipment (other than for cleaning purposes). If the equipment gets soaked, you’ll be charged double to cover drying costs. Let’s keep it dry and safe!
-
Bad Weather?
If it rains heavily or the wind is over 24mph, please turn off the inflatables. We’ll step in if we think it’s unsafe.
-
No Smoking, Glass, or Animals
Keep the equipment free of smoke, barbecues, glass, and animals to ensure a safe and clean environment for everyone.
-
No Rough Play
Reckless or boisterous behaviour should be stopped – let’s keep the fun respectful for all!
-
Big Kids, Small Kids – Separate Please!
Try to avoid letting large children and small children use the equipment at the same time to prevent accidents.
-
Climbing is a No-No
Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is dangerous. Let’s keep the inflatable fun happening safely inside!
-
Slide Safely!
Kids should slide one at a time, feet first, and never jump from the top. Safety mats at the bottom are a must!
-
Slide Positioning
Slides should be used in a sitting position, feet first – no climbing or jumping from the top!
-
Safety Mats
Safety mats must be at the bottom of the slides to avoid any accidents.
-
Keep Mats in Place
Don’t move the mats we supply – they’re part of the setup for safety!
-
No Bouncing on the Front Apron
The front step/side apron of the inflatable is for entry and exit, not for bouncing. Please use it responsibly!
-
Back or Neck Issues?
Anyone with a history of back or neck issues should not use the inflatables.
-
Inflation Time
No one should be on the inflatable while it’s being inflated or deflated – safety first!
-
Switch Off When Not in Use
If the inflatables aren’t being used, please switch the blowers off. If multiple blowers are plugged in, unplug them one by one to avoid any issues.
-
Rainy Days
If it rains, please get the kids off the inflatable. Don’t turn the blower off, but once the rain stops, dry the inflatable before kids can go back on (wet inflatables are slippery!).
-
Blower Care
Don’t cover the blower or block the vent. Keep it clear of litter or leaves, and if it overheats, switch it off and let it cool before restarting.
-
Injuries – Please Inform Us
If there’s an injury requiring medical treatment, let us know as soon as possible so we can help.
-
No Drinking or Drugs
Both adults and children should not use the equipment if under the influence of alcohol or drugs (prescription or otherwise).
-
Inspection Time!
You’re responsible for inspecting the equipment when you receive it. Any issues? Let us know right away so we can make it right!
-
Cleaning Charges
If the inflatable is returned dirty, a cleaning charge of £65 will apply. If you don’t bag the ball pit balls, it’s £25. Any missing parts or accessories? They’ll be charged at £25 each, or £50 for bigger items.
-
Delivery & Collection Obstructions
If there’s an obstruction during delivery or collection, we’ll charge £35 per hour (or part of).

Garden Suitability Guide
We want your inflatable hire to be safe and hassle-free! This guide will help you determine if your garden is suitable for setup.
✅ Best Surface – Natural Grass
Natural grass is ideal for securing a bouncy castle, as it allows us to firmly peg down the inflatable. The grass must be firm to ensure the pegs hold securely.
❌ Unsuitable Surfaces
We cannot set up on the following:
- Driveways, car parks, slabs, monoblock, or tarmac – These surfaces don’t allow for proper anchoring. We do not use sandbags as a substitute.
- Half grass/half concrete setups – This does not provide a secure base.
- Steep slopes – A slight slope is fine, but a steep one is unsafe.
- Wet, soggy ground – Pegs can easily come loose in high winds.
⚠️ Special Considerations
- Concrete – We can set up on concrete, but we will need to drill 10cm bolts into the floor, which will leave a 5p-sized hole. There is a £25 fee per inflatable for this service.
- Artificial Grass – We can set up on artificial grass, but we will need to insert 28cm stakes, which requires cutting a small slit in the grass. A small charge applies, and we do not accept responsibility for any damage.
- Dirt/Soil Areas – We can set up if the soil is firm enough. Please let us know in advance so we can bring a groundsheet.
- Chipped Stone/Gravel – If the ground underneath is solid enough for a 28cm peg, it may be suitable. If we arrive and our team cannot secure the inflatable, we will unfortunately have to cancel the booking for safety reasons.
🌬 Wind & Safety Precautions
- Our inflatables can generally be used in winds up to 24mph.
- However, we may lower this limit based on factors like site exposure, surface stability, and other safety risks during our on-site risk assessment.
Still Unsure? Let Us Check!
If you're not sure whether your garden is suitable, send us photos via email or Facebook, and we’ll review them. During busy periods, please allow 1-2 days for a response.
Your safety is our priority, and we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for you.
