At AW Inflatables, we’ve got your back! We want your experience to be smooth and hassle-free, which is why we’ve crafted our Cancellation & Refund Policy with peace of mind in mind. We proudly serve Weston-Super-Mare, Portishead, Bristol, Bath, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Cheddar, Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton, Taunton, and surrounding areas!
Full Refunds If We Can’t Deliver
We take pride in our 99.98% success rate for fulfilling bookings. However, in the rare event that something unexpected happens, such as:
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Equipment damage
We’ll issue a full refund within 28 days of your hire date.
Please note: If your event cannot proceed due to high winds exceeding 24 mph, a refund may not be possible.
Easy-Peasy Cancellations
- To cancel, simply notify us in writing (via email or text) during office hours (9 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday).
- Cancellations will be confirmed via email—so keep that for your records.
- Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to a future booking within 6 months of the original date. Just give us a heads-up, and we’ll sort it out!
Cancellation Policy
At AW Inflatables, we understand that plans can change. To keep things clear and fair, here’s how cancellations work:
Cancellation Charges
If you cancel your booking, the following charges apply:
- 7+ days before the hire date → 35% cancellation fee
- Within 72 hours of hire → 50% cancellation fee
- Within 48 hours of hire → 75% cancellation fee
- Within 24 hours of hire or upon arrival → 100% cancellation fee
If the equipment does not fit your chosen venue or the ground is unsuitable, the full booking fee will still apply.
Weather Cancellations
- If you cancel due to bad weather on the day (before we arrive) and provide at least two hours’ notice, your booking can be rescheduled or canceled subject to our terms.
- Deposits/payments can be transferred once to a new date within six months.
- If only a booking fee was paid, the full balance will still be due before rescheduling.
- If for any reason we can't reach you due to bad weather conditions Ie: Traffic, Road closed, Unsafe to venture out, we only offer a date change or cancelations with be a refund minus the booking fee. ( This applies to all inside and outside bookings )
Refund Process
If you’ve paid in full and cancel, any refund due will be processed based on the cancellation charges above. Refunds are issued within 10-28 working days.
If only a deposit was paid, any remaining balance must still be settled according to the applicable cancellation charges.
Failure to Pay
Failure to pay outstanding cancellation fees may result in court action to recover the balance.
Weather Considerations – Fun, Rain or Shine!
Our inflatables come with shower covers and sun canopies to keep the fun going in light rain and moderate winds. However, for safety reasons, we have to take weather conditions seriously.
Adverse Weather Policy:
- You can reschedule up to seven days before your event if the forecast looks bad.
- In light rain, we keep inflatables up and ready to use when safe.
- If winds reach 19–24 mph, we may need to deflate for safety.
- If winds exceed 24 mph (Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale), we will cancel the hire for safety reasons.
Tip: Check the latest forecast at the Met Office.
If we have to cancel due to unsafe weather, we will:
- Notify you ASAP with alternative options.
- Help reschedule or explore indoor alternatives.
Space Requirements – Let’s Make It Fit!
Each inflatable has specific setup requirements (detailed on our website). If the space isn’t suitable upon arrival, the booking will be canceled, and the full booking fee will apply.
