At AW Inflatables, we want your booking experience to be smooth, transparent, and hassle-free. That’s why we’ve designed our Cancellation & Refund Policy to be clear and fair—protecting both you and us.
We proudly serve Weston-Super-Mare, Portishead, Bristol, Bath, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Cheddar, Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton, Taunton, and surrounding areas.
✅ Full Refunds If We Can’t Deliver
We are proud of our 99.98% success rate for completing bookings. However, in the unlikely event we cannot fulfil your hire due to reasons such as:
- Vehicle breakdown on the way to your venue.
- Equipment damage that makes it unsafe to use.
➡️ We will issue you a full refund within 28 days of your hire date.
⚠️ Please note: If your booking cannot proceed due to high winds exceeding 24mph, this falls under our weather policy (see below), and a full refund may not apply.
📅 Easy Cancellations
- To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email or text message) during office hours (9 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday).
- We will confirm your cancellation in writing via email. Please keep this confirmation for your records.
- Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable, but they can be transferred once to a new booking within 6 months of the original hire date.
💷 Cancellation Charges
If you cancel your booking, the following fees apply:
- 7+ days before hire date → 35% cancellation fee
- Within 72 hours of hire → 50% cancellation fee
- Within 48 hours of hire → 70% cancellation fee
- Within 24 hours of hire OR upon arrival → 100% cancellation fee
⚠️ If the inflatable cannot fit at your chosen venue, or the ground is unsuitable, the full booking fee will still apply.
🌦️ Weather Cancellations
We all know UK weather can be unpredictable. To keep things safe and fair:
- If you cancel on the day due to bad weather (before we arrive) and provide at least 2 hours’ notice, your booking can be rescheduled once or cancelled (subject to terms).
- Deposits and payments can be transferred once to a new date within 6 months.
- If you’ve only paid the deposit, the remaining balance must still be paid before rescheduling.
- If you would not like to transfer your date within the date frame offered, we will off a small partial refund.
If AW Inflatables Cannot Reach You
If we are unable to reach your event due to severe weather (e.g. traffic disruption, road closures, unsafe travel), we will:
- Offer a date change, OR
- Provide a refund minus the booking fee.
(This applies to both indoor and outdoor bookings.)
💳 Refund Process
- If you have paid in full and cancel, any refund due will be calculated according to the cancellation charges above.
- Refunds are processed within 10–28 working days.
- If only a deposit was paid, any remaining balance must still be settled according to the cancellation fees listed.
- Failure to pay cancellation fees may result in legal action to recover the balance.
🌞🌧️💨 Adverse Weather Policy
We always prioritise safety first.
- All inflatables include shower covers and sun canopies for light rain and sun protection.
- In light rain, inflatables can remain up and used once surfaces are dried.
- In winds between 19–24mph, we may need to pause use for safety.
- In winds above 24mph (Force 5 Beaufort Scale), we will cancel or deflate the inflatable immediately.

📏 Space & Setup Requirements
Each inflatable requires specific space, access, and ground conditions (listed on our website).
- If we cannot safely set up due to lack of space, unsuitable ground, or poor access, the booking will be cancelled on arrival and the full fee will apply.
- Please ensure you have measured your space before booking to avoid disappointment.
